Jared Boxes a Yearly Project
All of our Jared Boxes are donated to Ronald McDonald House ~ 2014 ~ 80+ boxes
Each year our Chapter puts together Jared Boxes to give to children who are undergoing any kind of extended medical procedure.
The goal of the Jared Box Project is to lift the spirits of chronically ill children. The boxes symbolize the importance of play and are filled with well wishes, hope, and love.
Recently, nine members put together 32 Jared Boxes. They were delivered to Ronald McDonald House, San Diego.
These boxes are for children ages 2 and up. Filled with puzzles, coloring books and crayons or colored pencils, small toys that are age appropriate, and a reading book, these boxes give the child activities to do while undergoing chemotherapy, dialysis or other medical procedures.
